1. Three vectors (A, B, & C) are shown in the diagram below. Find the resultant of : A - B + 2C. (Use the component method, and remember to show your work.)

 

2.  Determine the tensions in each cable.

 

 

3. Find the magnitude and  direction of a force which will place the bar (shown below) in translational equilibrium.

4. Determine the  vertical support forces acting on the beam.
