Members present: Mark Larchez (chair), Ellen Carlson, Robert Foley, Paul Henkiel, Laura McCullough, Jim Pejsa, John Rompala, Alan Scott, Chancellor Sorensen (guest)

 

M. Larchez called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

 

1.      Announcement: The first of the spring Research Seminars is January 31. All are invited.

2.      The Chancellor spoke about the budget and issues surrounding the state’s fiscal crisis.

3.      There is an unencumbered $900 to spend because the weather station was very cheap to fix.  The department decided to order the high-voltage power supply and the fiber optic kits that had been on hold.

 

The meeting was adjourned at 9:45.
