Physics Department Meeting

Members present: Mark Larchez (chair), Ellen Carlson, Robert Foley, Paul Henkiel, Laura McCullough, Jim Pejsa, John Rompala, Alan Scott, Ted Bensen (guest)

 

M. Larchez called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m.

 

1.      Ted Bensen introduced the issues surrounding the physics requirements of the Graphic Communications Management program and the department offered information and suggestions.

2.      Minutes of the January 22, 2003 meeting were approved.  Minutes of the January 31, 2003 meeting were approved with a minor correction.

3.      Faculty Senate report:  R. Foley reported that a governance evaluation report is available and reported on the provost’s council budget reduction suggestions.

4.      Other agenda items were deferred to next meeting.

 

The meeting was adjourned at 10:05 a.m.
