Physics Department Meeting Minutes
April 15, 2005

Members present: Mark Larchez (chair), Bob Foley, Laura McCullough, Jim Pejsa, John Rompala, Alan Scott (recording secretary)

Mark called the meeting to order at 9:05am.

Retention of Laura

1. Mark indicated that the faculty are convening to discuss the issue of retaining Dr. Laura McCullough for the academic year 2006-2007.

2.  Laura was invited to present and papers and answer any questions.  She decided to allow this section of the meeting to be open.

Laura's accomplishments and activities from the past year were discussed.

3.  Bob moved to convene in closed session.  Jim seconded the motion.  Motion passed.

(Reconvened in open session.)

4. Mark announced tentatively, that it was unanimous to retain Laura for the academic year 2006-2007.

Meeting was adjourned at 9:30am.
