meeting was called to order by Mark Larchez at

Announcements
a)
Laura, Bob and two students
will be giving presentations at Research Day.
b)
Most fall classes are filling
up with some already full.
2.
Minutes
for meeting of 2006-03-31 were approved.
3. Faculty Senate report from
Alan Scott: The Chancellor wants a decision on the Polytechnic designation
before semester end.
4. Purchasing
a) May 1 is the deadline for submitting
professional dollars purchase requisitions.
b) Jim will submit
requisition for a wireless network card for the Atomic/Nuclear lab computer.
c) Purchase
requisitions should be submitted to Ellen with a proposed vendor.
5. General Ed assessment: The
web-based template should be used for submitting assessments. Members expressed
they would like to see an example of an acceptable assessment.
6. The meeting was adjourned at 9:55
