Physics Department Meeting

Members present: Mark Larchez (chair), Ellen Carlson, Robert Foley, Paul Henkiel, Jim Pejsa, Alan Scott

M. Larchez called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m.

1. Announcements

a) Ellen has the student help schedules set up now

b) Keys for the four lecture rooms are now available to be picked up

c) Dennis will check with instructor in first lab of the day regarding equipment setup

2. Minutes of the 8/31/04 meeting were approved

3. Faculty Senate report from Alan Scott

4.  Laura’s possible split assignment was discussed.

5. Spring 05 schedule – adjustments were made to accommodate offering the Atomic and Nuclear course

6. Staffing – Mark will complete and submit the “Departmental Staffing, Request to Fill … “ form

The meeting was adjourned at 10:00.
