Physics Faculty meeting minutes Friday Sept 27 2002

The Physics Department faculty met on Friday Sep 27 2002 at 9:05 am in Jarvis Hall Science Wing 103 I.

Chairperson Larchez reminded the faculty that according to the departmental bylaws, the departmental promotion committee consists of all of the faculty who are not applying for promotion, and the committee is chaired by the department chair.

The meeting was for the purpose of selecting a departmental representative and alternate to the College of Arts and Sciences promotion committee.

After self-nomination of Alan Scott as representative, a unanimous vote was to close nominations and select Alan Scott.

After self-nomination of Bob Foley as alternate, a unanimous vote was to close nominations and select Bob Foley.

Meeting was adjourned.
