POSITION DESCRIPTION


Position: Assistant Professor in Physics, Entry Level Tenure-track. Starting Date: August 31, 2009

Qualifications:

Required: A Ph.D. in Physics, Physics Education, Geology, Geoscience Education, Geotechnical Engineering, or a closely related field is required when contract starts. (Ph.D. required by start of contract.)  Evidence of teaching potential.  High level of communications abilities. A strong commitment to excellence and innovation in teaching.  Interest in areas of applied physics or geotechnical engineering would be especially desirable.
