   Dr. Scott is a Professor of Physics at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. His bachelors degree is in Education with a concentration in Physics and Math. He has a Ph.D. in Experimental Nuclear Physics from Kent State University. He is presently an advisor for the construction program at Stout and has written many articles and books (shown below).  Dr. Scott has given presentations on Risk Analysis, Encouraging Students to Think Critically About Unusual Claims, Geophysics of Gravity, Spreadsheet Simulation of a Modern Particle Detector, Sand Diver, and many more.  He has taught courses in Applied Engineering Mechanics, Statics & Strengths of Materials, Physics, Astronomy, Geology, Soil Mechanics, Classical Mechanics, and Physical Science.
